Liposuction is currently one of the most popular beauty procedures chosen by many women with the desire to improve their slim figure. However, to achieve the best beauty results, you must properly care for yourself after liposuction surgery. Let Worldwide Cosmetic Hospital guide you in the most standard way.

Wound care

Proper wound care will help you quickly recover from the wound and achieve the slim, balanced figure you desire. Therefore, after being discharged from the hospital, Worldwide Cosmetic Hospital will provide you with instructional materials on wound care including:

Instructions for self-care of the wound at home:

  • Apply medicine: Apply Povidine to the incision and rinse with physiological saline solution using dry gauze.
  • Change the bandage daily.
  • Perform gentle massage for the first 2 months.
  • Avoid strong impact on the wound to prevent infection and prolong the recovery time.

Follow-up appointment

Recovery process:

  • The liposuction area may be slightly swollen (possibly bruised) initially but will decrease after 2-4 weeks.
  • Recovery takes place between 10 days to 6 weeks (varies for each individual).

Follow-up appointments as per the Doctor’s schedule

  • Regular follow-up appointments after 7 days and 6 months.
  • If any abnormalities occur (difficulty breathing, irregular heart rate, dizziness, decreased vision, slurred speech, chest pain…), go to the hospital immediately for a check-up.

  • Work under excessive stress and pressure.
  • Rest at home for at least 5-7 days for optimal wound healing.
