ALL-ON-4/ALL-ON-6 PROCEDURE AT WORLD WIDE HOSPITAL
Surgery for All-On-4/All-On-6 Implant Placement:
There are 2 options:
1. Surgery with Implant Surgical Guide.
In cases where the patient has worn a removable denture, the jaw bone is stable and flat; no need for bone grafting, sinus lifting or other supportive techniques… Implant surgical guide is an appropriate and effective solution. With this technique, temporary teeth will be prepared and attached immediately after surgery.
2. Surgery with other supportive techniques:
In many other cases, All on 4/6 implants is placed immediately after tooth extraction, bone grafting or sinus lifting is required, along with various other supportive techniques such as bone adjustment, gum grafting, etc. Temporary teeth are placed within 72 hours after surgery to ensure the highest accuracy.
1st appointment:
- The doctor will conduct an examination, review the patient’s medical history, and listen to patient’s concerns.
- After that, the patient will undergo a cone beam CT scan, intraoral and extraoral radiographs, and digital impressions will be taken using the 3Shape Trios 4 – Intraoral Scanners.
- Detailed treatment plan for implant placement using Nobel Clinician software for prosthetic plan.
- In addition, the patient undergoes blood tests, an electrocardiogram, and a general health assessment to ensure maximum safety during surgery.
2nd appointment: Day 1 – surgery: Surgery is performed under pre-anesthesia or anesthesia to ensure complete relaxation for the patient and it is easier for the doctor to perform the precise manipulations.
3rd appointment: Day 2 – Teeth try-in and adjustments.
4th appointment: Day 3 – fixed teeth attachment.
Approximately 6 months after surgery, once the implants have integrated securely into the jawbone, the temporary prostheses will be replaced with better function and aesthetics.
