When obstacles lead the way to passion

When asked about the motivation that led Dr. Anh Tuan chose the specialization in Implant and facial surgery, he stated that he chose this field out of passion for the field of Surgery. The reason being that in the past, he worked in a public hospital specializing in facial surgery, and when participating in several charity missions such as “Cleft lip surgery” or “Cleft palate repair for children”, he felt very satisfied because his field could restore function and aesthetics for cases that were unfortunately lacking. Therefore, since Implant is still relatively new in Vietnam, he has been extremely passionate about this field, researching and exploring the superior applications of facial surgery to apply more effectively in practice.

For Dr. Anh Tuan, the more challenging the learning process, the more he wants to pursue it. In the past, the documentation for Implantation was not extensive, the tools were scarce, and in-depth knowledge was not widely available as this was a new and demanding high-tech field. However, these difficulties have only motivated Dr. Anh Tuan even more, constantly striving to learn and improve his expertise in this field.

In addition, when meeting with Dr. Do Dinh Hung – currently the Director of Worldwide Hospital, Dr. Anh Tuan had more opportunities to learn about Implants through professional trips and seminars on Implants in the United States, Hong Kong, thereby enhancing his knowledge as well as professional techniques.
