A recent typical case: orthodontic treatment for Trong Thien
Trong Thien came to Worldwide Hospital with quite a unique dental condition: two impacted incisors embedded in the bone plus four extra incisors.
When he first visited Dr. Kieu at Worldwide Hospital, he was in a state of despair. He shared: “My dental case is really difficult. I have consulted numerous dental clinics and hospitals from North to South, but no one accepted my case. Many advised me to get porcelain crowns, but I refused because I wanted to preserve as much of my natural teeth as possible through orthodontic treatment. Several dentists, including those in the North, recommended I try Dr. Do Dinh Hung – founder of Worldwide Hospital.”
Thus, Thien decided to give Worldwide Hospital a try as his last resort. If unsuccessful, he would accept his teeth as they were.
Remarkably, after taking X-rays and undergoing examinations, Dr. Kieu decided to take on Thien’s case. “When Dr. Kieu planned and accepted my case, I couldn’t believe it because I had been rejected so many times before,” Thien explained further.
Yet, she did not back down in the face of his complex dental condition or skepticism. Dr. Kieu invested significant time in researching and thoroughly explaining the treatment plan to Thien, convincing him to trust her and believe in the smile he deserved.
Now, after more than three years of orthodontic treatment with Dr. Kieu, Thien is nearing his desired results. Thien’s story is just one of many among the numerous patients Dr. Kieu has treated during her career.
She has never turned down a case of impacted or complex teeth. “Every case has a solution,” Dr. Nguyen Mong Dang Kieu shared. “If I cannot come up with the best treatment plan on my own, I will discuss it with my colleagues in the department and possibly consult with Dr. Hung as well.”
