With a long-standing inclination towards surgery, yet due to limited internship time, Dr. Luan sought opportunities to intern and train in various places to accumulate and enhance his experience and knowledge in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. For Dr. Luan, continuous learning and practice are core elements to refine one’s professional skills. Therefore, whether in the academic or professional setting, he never ceases to enrich his knowledge every day.
The most fortunate aspect for Dr. Vinh Luan is his chances to encountered mentors who are willing to impart extensive knowledge in this field. Notably, Dr. Do Dinh Hung, PhD, MD, the Director of Worldwide Hospital, has played a significant role in guiding Dr. Luan to join the hospital.
Additionally, through meetings with Dr. Do Dinh Hung, the current Director of Worldwide Hospital, Dr. Anh Tuan has had more opportunities to explore implant dentistry through study trips and seminars in the United States and Hong Kong, thereby enhancing his knowledge and technical expertise.
Each treatment case is a unique experience
Having accompanied Worldwide Hospital for many years, the number of his treatment cases is countless. When asked about the most memorable treatment, Dr. Luan smiled and shared, “Every treatment is memorable, as each customer is special in a different way.” Each treatment case with Dr. Luan is different, be it in terms of dental condition, problems the patients is facing or their personality. Some patients have many difficulties with “dental fear”, but some are brave, and there are also difficult and highly complicated treatment cases. Not only at the hospital, Dr. Vinh Luan also participates in dental treatment and care through volunteer trips as far away as the West or Da Lat.
Through the work process, what makes Dr. Luan happy is not only being able to treat and bring beautiful smiles to customers, but also being able to meet, chat, and become “friends” and “relatives” of customers on the journey to perfect their smiles.
